We invite you COME ON UP to and join us skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, tubing, sledding & snowshoeing. 
Make plansto come to the High Country to play in the snow this winter! All area resorts are open & ready for you to come play!
 Skating is offered during three sessions until March 23 weather permitting:
Noon to 2pm
2:30pm to 4:30pm
7pm to 9pm

| Bonfire & Hayrides on Beech Mountain Town Hall
Beech Mountain
| An annual event on Beech Mountain (weather permitting, of course). Join us for hot chocolate or cider and warm yourself at the bonfire. Hay wagons will take you on a tour of Beech Mountain by starlight! Tune up your vocal chords for some season caroling. Hayrides and bonfire begin at 7 PM and it is FREE!! For additional information contact the Beech Mountain Chamber of Commerce.

| National Winter Trails Day Sugar Mountain Resort | The 14th annual National Winter Trails Day is coming back to Sugar Mountain Resort. The event offers children and adults new to snow sports the chance to try snowshoeing for FREE. Discover the fun and fitness of snowsports. Snowshoe rental and guided tours are free. Guided tours are available at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, & 3 pm. The program includes a 1 hour tour and snowshoe rental. Adult tours are for 12 years or older. Children's tours are for 8 - 11 year olds.
